How can you charge for doing energy work???
Being an energy healer is a gift from God. How can you charge for that???
These questions. And others like them. That's what I'd like to discuss today. These questions are extremely common in the energy healing world. Every energy worker I know has had to answer these types of questions. I've had them asked of me. So let's look at this.
Energy healing is a gift from God. It's a gift to be healed through energy healing, which involves removing the energy blocks so that God's power moves freely through us and we are healed. The energy worker is just a facilitator. God is the healer.
Energy healing is also a gift that I and many others are blessed to be able to do. It's a talent that I have spent a lot of time, money, and energy to learn, practice, and share with others.
So if it's a talent and gift from God, how can I justify charging money for it?!?
Well, let's look at a couple of different situations.
Say someone is gifted with the ability to play football. They start as a child whose parents put them on the neighborhood team. They realize, "Hey, I'm pretty good at this!" So they continue playing football over the years, playing for countless hours for the love of the game. They might play on their middle school team. Then they play on the high school team. Meanwhile, their parents are paying for their team dues, uniforms, sports physicals, etc... They may go on to play for a college team, or if they're really good, they make the pros. By that time, they have some fans. Those people are willing to pay big bucks to go see them play college or professional football.
Is that wrong?
Or let's look at another example. Say there's another child who wants to learn to play the piano. Their parents agree, so they invest in a piano and a teacher. They soon realize that the child is really good. The child becomes better than the teacher, so the parents have to find a better, more expensive teacher. After several years and many, many hours of practice, the student is good enough to charge money for their concerts. Eventually they get to the point where they travel to different cities, and even other countries, to give performances where thousands of people are willing to pay to hear them perform.
Is that wrong?
In both of these scenarios, they were blessed by God with a gift. A talent. But after putting forth much effort, they have become great at what they do. So much so, that strangers are willing to spend a lot of money to go see them. This is commonplace in the world today. People pay willingly to see someone perform a concert or play a sport that they were gifted in when they were born. But they didn't know they were gifted until they tried it.
It's no different with energy work. Some people are born with the gift of being able to work with energy and facilitate healing for themselves and others through that gift. But it takes being introduced to it, and learning from someone, and putting forth effort to practice and gain experience. So after countless hours of learning, and practicing, and seeing amazing results in myself and others, I'm willing to spend time away from my family to do sessions for others, to help them. Is it wrong for me to charge for the education I've received? The time I've spent learning? The time away from my family while I'm helping someone else? I don't think so.
Everything on this earth is energy. Including money. Money is what has been decided is what will change hands in exchange for goods and services on this earth. So if I'm providing a service, doesn't it make sense that money should change hands?
Further, there's a common saying that you get what you pay for. So if I'm giving away my services for free, it's perceived as not worth anything. It's useless. But I can personally attest, as can my clients, that what I do is not worthless!
It's a priceless gift to be able to move forward in life and not be held back by the negative experiences and traumas of the past. And I'm willing to pay for that. And I'm comfortable charging money for that, too.
What are you willing to pay for the gift of healing?
